No one can doubt the courage of a young, white, Jewish, college kid mobilizing black voters in Mississippi in 1964-65 - especially after the murders of Evers, Goodman, Schwerner, Chaney, and Liuzzo. And after all that blood, toil, and sweat, where is the new Mississippi that they struggled to realize?
