Jonathan

Upon sending in my address requesting the book plate, an auto reply suggested that I use the Comment option. I am not comfortable placing my address here.

Also, I tried ordering the book through Barnes and Noble. I must have been doing something wrong as I was not getting the 25% discount.

Hi, Scott:

I get that. Please send me an email at jalter@jonathanalter.com

Re Barnes and Noble, you apparently need to join something for the discount...The deadline for the discount is tonight.

Yes, same here. I attempted to order through Barns and Noble plus do store pickup nearby and could do neither. Offer does not seem to be activated.

I think you have to join a premium club and put in the code at the top of the listing of my book...

Hi, Jonathan, I've sent you emails before, but this time they said it has to go through Substack. Anyway, I ordered the books for my son, Clayton Dobosh. You signed the Obama book to him "to a freelance philosopher." He's now go his masters in law with a concentration in intellectual property and is working for a cannabis company. I'm sure you can think of something to say to that. My address is Jane Primerano, P.O. Box 511, Hope, NJ 07844. I can't wait to borrow it back from him to read myself.

Thanks Jon! As with all of your books, I’m so proud and delighted that you wrote this book, your trial coverage was awesome! Hope to get to see you in person one of these days.

Btw, Nancy Stevenson turns 90 on Oct 19th, still as ever the energizer bunny! She just published a book called ‘The Long Reach’.

Thanks for the book plate, I’ll leave the inscription up to you.

Sending loads of love, Janet

I already ordered it on Amazon. Can't wait to read it. You have done a great service to the nation by preserving this important history. I, too, as a writer, can't be silent. My new book is out in March ready to preorder in October about getting America back to making each other laugh by sharing stories: Itching to Love, The Story of a Dog. NPR storyteller shares views on Dogs, Men, Motherhood, Lasagna, and the Founding Fathers. Thanks for writing RECKONING as well as HIS VERY BEST.
