Long, long before the fake electors in MIchigan planned to hide in the State Capitol to advance their illegal plot, another seditious, clandestine affair, the famous Gunpowder Plot of 1605, was centered in the seat of government of England, the House of Lords in London. A cabal of radical Catholics plotted to assassinate the Protestant King James I at the State Opening of Parliament by hiding a massive hoard of gunpowder in the basement under the hall and exploding it during the ceremonies. Ever since Trump was elected in 2016, it has always felt surreal. There is a darkness in Trump that I have always seen clearly, and I have never stopped wondering why others couldn't see it. Trump is evil and as long as he lives, he will always be a threat to the entire world.

I was horrified by what these witnesses said yesterday, and by what Trump has done to these innocent people for doing their jobs. We're being shown what Trump is capable of, and I suspect there are no limits to what he would do in the future. I hope he will not be allowed to run for president again and will end up in prison for his crimes.

In this analogy the parrot is a metaphor for Trump's election "victory". Does Michael really believe the parrot is alive? Watch his eyes.
